ماذا يعرف المسيحيون والمسلمون عن إيمان بعضهم البعض؟ أليس هناك مرارا وتكرارا سوء تفاهم كبير وإدانات؟ لقد كتب الكثير باللغة الهولندية لغير المسلمين عن الإسلام، للأسف القليل عن الإيمان المسيحي للمسلمين. هذا الكتيب هو محاولة لذلك.
يتعلق الأمر في هذا الكتاب، بمائة سؤال وأجوبة لتوظيح للقارئ طريقة توجه الحياة المسيحية وما يؤمن به المسيحيون. الأسئلة أتت خلال لقائات متبادلة حصلت في الواقع. لقد قامت لجنة دراسية لبعض المنظمات الكنسية بجمع هذه الأسئلة التي طرحت على خدامها في الخارج، وكذلك داخل هولاندا، من طرف مسلمين حول الإيمان المسيحي. نحاول هنا أن نعطي أجوبة متفقة مع ما تعترف به الكنائس في كل زمان ومكان، ولكن نريد كذالك أن نعطي أجوبة شخصية حسب تجاريبنا الخاصة. قد تكون لأسئلة عديدة، أجوبة مختلفة؛ ونحن نحاول أيضا أن نأتي بها في بعض الحالات لنوظح التنوع الذي تتمتع به الديانة المسيحية.
